Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I believe that education offers choice, effort creates ability and kindness matters. With education, students can choose their destiny. With effort and belief in themselves, students achieve that education. With kindness and respect, students can successfully collaborate with others thus achieving even more. At Rudecinda Dodson Middle School, we strive to ensure all students acquire academic skills and character traits necessary for high school, college acceptance and career readiness. We provide a rigorous academic program that challenges students to move along their educational pathway by deepening their conceptual understanding through real-world applications, evidence-based writing, and critical thinking skills. We also promote the importance of attitude and effort, collaboration, and accountability for their own learning. The dedicated Dodson staff hold themselves to a high level of involvement and responsibility for the success of all our students.
